Acies Opacus was brought together by a chain of events which was in no uncertain terms remarkable. Three groups, three leaders but one vision. The vision that with help, humanity can flourish, to become a group of people where the violence that plagued its past is unable to disturb the peace of the future.
Most people see this mission as noble, but unfeasible, because of the few who do not want to live in a peaceful world. The few are the reason that Acies Opacus sadly, can not always be peaceful in the pursuit of our mission.
Sometimes the use of force is the only way to resolve an issue that is beyond the means of regular politics. Therefore Acies Opacus must have a capability to destroy the enemies of peace and protect the operatives of Acies Opacus. The Core meets this requirement.
The Core is a small group of highly trained men and women equipped with the best weaponry and technology available enabling them to seek out and destroy or capture enemy targets with extreme accuracy and low collateral damage, a requirement of a good peacekeeping force. To maintain good relationships with local security, The Core may choose to outsource some tasks.
In a world where so many groups seek more efficient ways to damage each other, it is good to be on the forefront of technology. TechTron maintains a large resource pool and an experienced team of skilled craftsmen, engineers, mechanics, weapon smiths and technicians enabling them to provide Acies Opacus with materiel support and an excellent infrastructure. Whilst pursuing their own self-advancement goals and trading goods on local markets.
While Acies Opacus has the means to use force, it would be hypocritical to run into a situation with guns blazing without first trying to resolve it peacefully.
Foreign Affairs works closely with every element of Acies Opacus to ensure that good relations are maintained with all friendly forces, and strives to achieve peace with clans who do not appreciate the harmony that can exist between people with opposing viewpoints.
Acies Opacus is only able to achieve its mission because of the cooperation between these three elements. Held tightly together by a rigid but adaptable Chain of Command, Acies Opacus is led by three great men who are each loosely attached to an element of Acies Opacus.
